How to add users to a SSO exemption list in HubSpot
If you are using SSO or or a specific login method on HubSpot, this article shows you how to exclude users from the login restrictions.
If your business uses Single Sign-On (SSO) to access HubSpot, there may be situations where specific users outside of your organisation (for example a HubSpot Partner) may need to log in using their credentials instead. In these cases, administrators can add users to the SSO exemption list.
Below are the steps for adding users to the SSO exemption list:
Important Notes
- Only Super Admins can manage the SSO exemption list.
- Users on the exemption list can continue to access HubSpot even if there are issues with your identity provider.
- Removing a user from the exemption list will require them to authenticate through SSO the next time they log in.
- Review the exemption list regularly to ensure only authorised users have direct HubSpot login access.
